Download ARK, open it, and tell it what you need. The first time, it asks which AI it should think with.

Install

  1. Open the file you downloaded. Its name starts with ARK-Desktop.

  2. Drag ARK into Applications.

  3. Open ARK and choose the AI it thinks with: a Claude or ChatGPT subscription you already have, an API key, or a free model that runs on your Mac.

Other computers

ARK for Intel Macs, Windows and Linux is not ready yet. Developers can run ARK Core anywhere: see the guide on GitHub.

Check the download

ARK is signed by its developer and checked by Apple, so your Mac opens it without warnings. To compare the file yourself, its SHA-256 is in this list, next to its name.
